About Janie VanLeeuwen
Originally from the Kansas City, Missouri area, I am a graduate of Northwest Missouri State University with a B.S. in International Marketing. I gained over fifteen years’ experience in the credit industry, prior to becoming a Realtor®. I now, have ten years’ experience as a Realtor® and in November 2010 started Welcome Home Group, Inc. I am a wife, mother of four children, and grandmother to 2 & 1/2 grandchildren.
Our family moved to Greenville in 1985. We quickly came to love the beauty of the area, including the views of the Smokey Mountains. During the years our children were growing up, our family enjoyed the many campgrounds and state parks in the area and made several trips to the ocean. We love being so close to both the mountains and the ocean. We have enjoyed watching the growth and development of downtown Greenville into an enjoyable place to visit and shop. We appreciate the small-town feel void of the big-city traffic. In Greenville, you can enjoy being within ten or fifteen minutes of shopping, restaurants, entertainment or schools. Greenville has the best of both worlds! For those relocating from outside the area, I believe you will fall in love with Greenville.
I became a Realtor® in 2004 and love it! I started at a local Re/Max franchise and soon decided to start my own company. That is when Welcome Home Group, Inc. came into existence.
I enjoy helping both buyers and sellers see their dreams become realities. I have continued to pursue additional certifications and education. I hold certifications such as:
• ABR (Accredited Buyer’s Rep)
• GRI (Graduate of Realtor® Institute)
• ASR (Accredited Seller’s Rep)
• CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert, helping buyers and sellers with short sales
• EPro, which focuses on technology as it affects real estate.
I also took classes and qualified for my Broker’s license in 2010.
My personality, education and background prepared me for the challenges of the real estate profession and I look forward to meeting each new client and serving their needs with great anticipation. I take pride in serving each client as I would want to be served, as though they were family. I am looking forward to meeting you!
